Braudis Pegram, an emerging American painter, was born September 1945 in New York City where he currently lives and works. He is an Artist Member of the Museum of Modern Art whose figurative drawings circulated The New York Public Libraries in Manhattan when he was just 16. As a painter, he is an autodidact and had his first group exhibition in Harlem at age 27 after studying printmaking at Herbert H. Lehman College.
